Kent is the first voice you’ll hear and the one who follows through. He books your visit, finds you a sooner slot when one opens, sends what you need before you come in, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks after: results, referrals, follow-ups, questions for Dr. Ruffin.
He came to care coordination from the clinical side. Kent is a medical laboratory scientist who ran a hospital microbiology section, worked on public-health research, and taught the next generation of lab scientists for four years. He understands what a result means and why waiting for one is hard. That is why he answers quickly and plainly.

Latricia Bass
Latricia makes sure the cost of care is never a surprise. She runs your insurance before you come in, explains what your plan will and won’t cover in plain words, and handles the claim so you don’t have to call your insurer. If a bill looks wrong, she’s the one who fixes it.
She has worked in medicine for nearly three decades. She started out planning to become a nurse and found her calling on the side of care most patients never see: the paperwork that decides what you pay. Latricia is a certified professional coder and biller and teaches future coders through her company, Essential Innovative Revenue Services, which handles billing for our practice.
